The RGS-IBG Annual International Conference regularly attracts over 2,000 geographers from around the world.

The Annual International Conference 2026 will be chaired by Professor Peter Hopkins (Newcastle University, UK), on the theme of Geographies of inequalities: toward just places. Find out more about our Chair’s sessions at the conference.
