Dr Khan is a Research Associate at the University of Glasgow’s School of Computing Science, where his research focuses on data-driven digital twin creation for the decarbonisation of transport technologies. He is particularly interested in the development of autonomous, intelligent transport systems through real-time data integration, machine learning, and federated digital twin frameworks.
Dr Khan has a PhD from the University of Calabria in Italy, specialising in energy efficiency in smart buildings. His work involved modeling dynamic occupant behavior to optimise energy consumption using data-driven and intelligent techniques.
