EMINE ZEHRA AKGUN

Emine is an Assistant Professor in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. She received her PhD from the Transport Research Institute at Edinburgh Napier University in 2021.
Emine’s research focuses on exploring the urban freight and mobility strategies of public sector organisations through the lenses of public policy and public management theories. She is also exploring new service business models for the electrification of road transportation in the context of goods and people’s mobility.
Emine also works on digital transformation in public sector organisations, with a particular focus on investigating implementation challenges and mitigation strategies that public sector organisations can develop.
