DAVID GREENWOOD

Professor David Greenwood is CEO of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult at Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) and Director for Industrial Engagement.
He previously led WMG’s Energy Directorate, overseeing 200+ researchers across sectors from automotive to aerospace. Before academia, he spent 20 years in industry, including as Head of Hybrid and Electric Systems at Ricardo UK Ltd.
David holds advisory and board positions with Innovate UK (Faraday Battery Challenge), the UK Battery Industrialisation Centre, and the Faraday Institution. In 2023, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.
