At EHF2026, the human factors community will come together to explore how we adapt, innovate and thrive in a rapidly changing world.
This is your chance to be part of a vibrant, future-focused event that celebrates insight, impact and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Whether you’re advancing research, driving innovation or sharing lessons, contribute to a programme that reflects the diversity and dynamism of human factors practice.
If your work helps shape safer, smarter and more sustainable systems, we want to hear from you.
Topics – Within the overarching theme of ‘Adapting to the Future’, we welcome submissions across sectors including healthcare & medical devices, defence & security, construction & manufacturing, energy & transport. We’re also keen to explore cross-cutting topics such as AI & emerging technologies, behaviour & safety culture, UX design & human-centred innovation.
Format – EHF2026 will span three energising days of hands-on masterclasses on tools and techniques, a dedicated doctoral consortium for PhD students, engaging keynotes, lectures, panel discussions, and paper and poster presentations that spark dialogue and discovery.
Submissions – We’re inviting 2-page, short paper submissions. After successful peer review, you’ll be invited to expand your work to 8-pages if you wish, all published in Contemporary Ergonomics & Human Factors 2026. This is a great opportunity to share your insights with a wide audience and contribute to the evolving conversation around human factors.
