Alan Logan

Dr Alan Logan works as a Data Scientist and Assistant Professor in the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight and the Centre for Logistics and Sustainability in Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University. His research focuses on how data may be used accelerate the decarbonisation of the haulage sector, and the transport sector more widely. His previous research is in pure mathematics (geometric group theory).
Alan has a Master of Mathematics degree from the University of St Andrews and a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Glasgow.
