
Grace Wangui

Grace Wangui is a software engineer and data analyst with an MSc in Data Science from the University of Glasgow.
She has more than four years of experience delivering scalable solutions in finance, healthcare, and education and has contributed to platforms serving more than 30 million users.
Grace is skilled in application programming interface (API) development, systems integration, data analysis and visualisation, natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning.
She is passionate about bridging software engineering and data-driven insights and has worked with tools across big data (Apache Spark, Hadoop), data analysis (Python, pandas, numpy, matplotlib, SQL etc), deep learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and NLP (NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers).
Grace has also volunteered as a tutor at Computer Science Academy, an initiative led by the University of Glasgow’s School of Computing Science, as part of the University’s international outreach programme. Its mission is to equip young Africans with essential programming skills and foster collaboration in science and technology across borders.
