Dr Muhammad Shujaat Mubarik is Associate Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Heriot-Watt University’s Edinburgh Business School.
His work focuses on the strategic integration of human resources and emerging digital technologies to foster sustainable and resilient supply chains.
Dr Mubarik’s research is partly rooted in the concept of intellectual capital – the aggregate of human, relational and structural capital of an organization – and its pivotal role in enhancing the resilience and sustainability of supply chains, particularly in the face of global challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
