Amjad Musawi
Research Student
Amjad holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Leeds, focusing on developing a digital twin model for the campus transport system.
He previously worked as a Principal Engineer at National Highways, where he gained seven years of experience in highways design. Amjad was involved in multiple major road improvement projects, including the M25, M6, and A1 in the Midlands.
His research interests lie in developing digital twins to support the decarbonisation of transport, starting with the University of Leeds and expanding to cover transport networks across the Midlands.
