ROBERT WALKER
Research Student
Robert is a technologist with 35 years’ experience spanning telecommunications, financial services and aviation across the UK, US, Europe and Japan. His career has focused on transformative technologies including AI and data-driven methodologies, and his experience spans multinational corporates and startups. Robert holds a Master’s degree in Digital Systems Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and is now pursuing research in Digital Twin Networks.
Robert’s project investigates the complexity in connecting hierarchical CPS components and workloads in cloud, edge and vehicular networks, supporting coordinated decision making and subject to real-world communications systems constraints.
